Take part

Someone wants to work unpaid in his spare time? Anybody? … Okay, we know this is not the best advertising slogan and there aren’t many people which immediately say “Yeah, absolutely!” However that is the point: we need a few volunteers at the Anime Flea Market, who actively support us.

Current restructuring

Open for more information

The official organizer of the Anime Flea Market is the Nishi Trade e. V. (registered association) and it has so far been organized by people who have come together loosely within the association. However, we have currently decided to revise our internal organizational structures and we are now in a transitional phase.

The plan is to establish a separate department for the Anime Flea Market within the association, which will then vest it with its own departmental regulations (we call them OTAF regulations). However, in order to be able to implement this the way we want, we have to change the statutes of Nishi Trade e. V.. This involves membership meetings, visits to the authorities and paperwork. We are currently preparing this internally and will officially tackle it in 2025.

We have already finalized the departmental regulations and are acting on the basis of them as far as possible. For things for which is not yet possible, we are currently reorganizing things in a way that we can start next year.

Bei Sachen, bei denen es noch nicht möglich ist, organisieren wir die Sachen momentan um, sodass wir dann ab nächstem Jahr voll durchstarten können.

In the following, we have written down for you how we want to organize ourselves internally from 2025 and what we are currently working towards.

General information

We are democratically organized. We have no main organizers, division heads or bosses. The basis for our cooperation are the OTAF regulations (available only in German).

If you want to join us, you have to decide whether you want to be a helper or an OTAF member. The two roles work together in different compositions in different working groups, but have different rights of co-determination and responsibilities. It is also possible to be in several working groups at the same time.

The working groups are:

Previous experince necessary?

It’s always good if someone has previous experience, but it’s not necessary for us, regardless of the working group. Yes, for some tasks you need certain knowledge and/or experience. That’s why we organize preparatory meetings and information events so that you can learn this. Apart from that: just take part. You only gain experience by trying things and we provide you with the resources and opportunities to do so within the scope of our possibilities.
